Window/Shower Perches
Before attaching the perch to a wall/window,
wet the suction cups with water to improve suction. Be sure to check the
perch occasionally to make sure the suction cups are still securely
attached. If needed, wet the suction cups again and reattach the perch.
LARGE window/shower perches should look like
an "I" when attached to the wall/window, not an "H."
The joint that holds the perch itself can rotate. Attaching the perch in
an "H" fashion allows the perch to rotate up or down. A large
bird's weight will cause the perch to rotate downward, causing the bird to
fall. Attaching the perch in an "I" fashion allows the perch to
rotate left or right only.
Tabletop Perches
Tabletop perch bottoms are secured by screws
on the corners, but not the edges. This allows you to slide paper
towel, newspaper, etc between the PVC pipe frame and the plastic bottom,
allowing for simple cleanup.
Foop Catchers
Foop catchers will come with the tray and a small pvc pipe "arm." The arm
should be inserted into the hole in the "T" between the suction cups on the back
of the tray. This "arm" should rest against the window and support the tray.
As with window/shower perches, be sure to wet the suction cups occasionally to ensure
that the foop catcher will have a strong hold to your window.
